<description>Hi there! Many of these features are already in Subtext.

1. Output caching is on by default.
2. Control over meta tags per post will be in the next version.
3. The next version will allow you to specify a &quot;canonical&quot; domain name. Thus you can have &quot;www.foo.com&quot; and &quot;blog.foo.com&quot; redirect to &quot;foo.com&quot; if you wanted to.
4. Each skin in Subtext controls its own layout. You can go in and edit any skin with NoFollow and NoIndex. We mark comments with NoFollow by default.
We should consider whether we put NoIndex in the skins by default.
5. Right now, we do run the HTML for a post through an SGML parser. This closes unclosed tags and makes sure your HTML is XHTML compliant. It&#039;s not quite HtmlTIdy, but it does a lot.</description>
